What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser when you visit it. They let the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in and improve your experience.
Viralio uses essential cookies (always on) and, only with your consent, statistics cookies (Google Analytics + our own internal stats) and advertising & social media cookies (Google Ads, TikTok) to measure our campaigns.
No tracking cookie is placed before you consent. We use Google Consent Mode: until you choose, Google services receive only anonymous technical signals, with no cookies and no personal or click identifiers (with ads data redaction on), used solely for aggregate statistical estimates. In the same way, until you consent our internal statistics record only anonymous page views — no cookies, no visitor or session identifiers, and with the IP address anonymised — used solely to count traffic in aggregate.
Besides cookies, we may use similar technologies: localStorage (for local preferences, e.g. the theme) and pixels/tags in emails (a transparent pixel that tells us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked, so we can measure how effective our messages are). You can block email pixels by setting your email client not to load external images.

We use the Google Ads tag and the TikTok Pixel to measure how effective our ad campaigns are and to show relevant offers on Google and TikTok. These cookies are placed only if you accept the “advertising & social media” category. Without consent, Google receives only anonymous signals, with no cookies and no click identifiers (Consent Mode with ads data redaction), and the TikTok Pixel does not load at all.
If you accepted this category and you make a purchase, we report the conversion to TikTok from our server as well (TikTok Events API), not just from the browser — otherwise payments completed with the tab closed or an ad blocker on could not be measured. In that case we send the email address irreversibly encrypted (SHA-256 hash), never in the clear, together with the amount paid and the click identifier. Without your consent on this category we send nothing, neither from the browser nor from the server.

Alongside Google Analytics we run our own statistics system, hosted on our servers (the data never goes to third parties). It measures in aggregate: pages visited, traffic source (e.g. Google, social media), device type and which app in the ecosystem was used, and for signed-in users — the path through the site. The IP address is anonymised (the last segment is removed). It switches on only if you accept.
